(Area) District 3 Iowa Senator Jim Carlin (Republican) is running for the U.S. Senate in 2022.
Carlin, an Attorney from Sioux City, said he feels the government is in a place that there is such overreach in so many aspects of our lives and at some point we have to start holding the government accountable.
Carlin will challenge Republican Chuck Grassley for the U.S. Senate seat.
Carlin said it’s a shared responsibility we all have to hold the government accountable.
Carlin also noted that he feels we’re facing some pretty serious existential type threats that have to be engaged including big tech, big government and China.
