(Massena) A Cass County woman suffered injuries in a single-vehicle accident on Richland Road near Massena.
Cass County Chief Deputy Sheriff Jon Westering tells KSOM/KS95 News, the accident happened at 12:44 p.m. at 75293 Richland Road one-quarter of a mile east of Massena. The westbound vehicle attempted to pass some farm equipment, and for unknown reasons, lost control and entered the north ditch, rolling several times before landing on its top.
Chief Deputy Westering said Massena Rescue transported the female occupant to Cass Health.
The name of the victim was not released. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Cumberland and Massena Rescue units assisted at the scene.
