(Adams Co.) The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reports three arrests.
Dale Wayne Roberts, 30, of Corning, was arrested after Deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of Quincy Street in Corning for an Assault call. Upon arrival, Deputies were informed that Roberts assaulted a female subject by slamming her up against a vehicle by her shoulders. Roberts was gone upon arrival on Wednesday and the victim filled out a statement wanting to pursue charges. On Thursday, Deputies were called back to the 2000 block of Quincy Street for the male subject returning to the property and making threats towards the victim again. Roberts was located at Highway 148 and Grover Avenue and placed under arrest for Simple Assault.
Stephen Waisner, 52, of Lawrence, Kansas, was arrested on August 15th after Deputies were called to a rollover accident with no injuries at 240th and Highway 25. Waisner was charged with Operating While Intoxicated and transported to the Adams County Jail. He later posted bond.
Brandon Anthony Clayton, 35, was arrested on August 14th for OWI 3rd Offense, Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication. Deputies were dispatched to the Corning Speed Track for an intoxicated male subject threatening to assault his girlfriend, being aggressive towards other patrons, and assaulted a track official. Upon Deputies arrival they located the vehicle that Clayton was in by officials from the race track at 11th and John Street. As Deputies pulled up behind the vehicle, the vehicle proceeded southbound on John Street at an excessive high rate of speed. Deputies initiated a traffic stop at 9th and John Street where they identified Clayton. Upon investigation, Clayton showed signs of impairment and was arrested.
