(Atlantic) The Atlantic Community School District invites area law enforcement, the Atlantic, Marne, Lewis, and Griswold Fire Departments, and all EMS Responders to the September 10 Atlantic home football game.
Atlantic School’s Superintendent Steve Barber says the school wants to support, recognize, and honor these brave men and women in commemoration of 9-11 and their quick response to the July 27 fire at the Middle School.

Barber says even though 9-11 happened 20-years ago, he remembers it like it was yesterday.

There will be a tailgate party in the Schuler elementary south parking lot and free admission to the game for all first responders.
