(Adair Co.) The Adair County Board of Supervisors presented questions to County Attorney Melissa Larson this morning regarding the solar panel ordinance.
The solar panel ordinance went into place around May 5th. Supervisor Matt Wedemeyer said there has been talk that a lot of these acres were leased before the ordinance and was wondering if the County has any power or authority to request that these developers prove to them that these were done in advance. County Attorney Melissa Larson said if any information comes to light regarding backdating and things like that, it needs to come to her office so that it can be investigated properly.
The Supervisors were also curious about how many acres were signed up before May 5th.
