(Creston) Creston Police arrested 29-year old Amanda Steinbach at her residence on Friday for Driving While Barred and Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Offense and held her on a $3,000 bond. Additionally, Steinbach is being held on a Union County Warrant for Failure to Serve a Jail Sentence on the original charge of Burglary 2nd degree amended to Accessory After the Fact and Violation of Probation. She is held on no bond and until she services the balance of her sentence.
Creston Police report two other non-related arrests. Officers arrested 42-year old Brady Richert of Creston on Sunday for OWI, 2nd Offense. Authorities released him from the Union County Jail on a $2,000 bond.
On Monday, Police cited and released 33-year old Robert Johnson, of Banning, California, on a Summons to Appear for the charge of Theft 5th that occurred at 703 W Taylor on May 29.
