(Red Oak) No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident in Red Oak Monday afternoon.
The Red Oak Police Department says the accident occurred in the 300 block of E Coolbaugh Street at 12:15 p.m. A 17-year-old female from Red Oak was driving a 2005 Jeep Liberty, backing out of her parking stall. 59-year-old David Ward, of Red Oak, had just backed out and was moving forward. The teen could not see very well due to the other parked vehicles and backed into the driver’s side rear door of Ward’s 2007 Ford Edge.
