(Atlantic) Driver’s escaped serious injury in a two-vehicle accident on the south edge of Atlantic.
The Atlantic Police Department says the accident happened at around 7:35 a.m. on the 1000 block of East 22nd Street.
According to the report, Leslie Paulsen of Exira, traveling eastbound on 22nd Street, struck the back of a vehicle driven by Angela Hillhouse of Atlantic. Hillhouse stopped to wait for a westbound school bus near construction workers partially blocking the roadway. Hillhouse complained of neck pain but refused transport.
Paulsen’s vehicle received $8,000 damage. The Hillhouse vehicle received $2,000 damage.
