(Atlantic) A Page County man suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident south of Atlantic.
Cass County Chief Deputy Sheriff John Westering tells KSOM/KS95 News the accident happened at around 2:07 p.m. on Highway 71 and Keystone Road. Upon arrival, rescue crews found a man lying beside a small scooter-type motorcycle on the road’s east shoulder.
The driver, Dennis McClarnon, 62, of Clarinda, told authorities he was northbound on Highway 71 and lost control on the road’s gravel portion. The man suffered apparent head and leg injuries. Cass County EMS transported the victim to the Cass County Memorial Hospital and later transported to UNMC in Omaha.
