(Red Oak) The Audubon girl’s won ten events and captured the team title in the Class “A” division at the Red Oak Girl’s Invitational track meet on Friday.
The Wheelers piled up 183-points, Essex finished a distant second with 102-points, Southwest Valley, 3rd, 85, Lenox, 4th, 73, Bedford, 5th, 74, and Sidney, 6th, with 73.
First-place finishers for Audubon were; Madison Steckler, 200, Hannah Thygesen, 400, Grace Slater, 3,000 and 1500, Elizabeth Zaiger in the Discus and Shot Put, 4×400, Shuttle Hurdle, and 800 Sprint Medley Relays.
Essex received first-place finishes from Cindy Swain in the 100 meters, Riley Jensen, high jump, Emma Barrett, long jump, and the 4×100 meter relay.
Southwest Valley won the 4×800 meter relay, Bedford earned gold in the 4×200 meter relay, and Lenox picked up wins from Mckinna Hogan in the 800, Cassidy Nelson, 100-meter hurdles, and T.J. Stoaks in the 400-meter hurdles, and the Distance Medley Relay.
