(Red Oak) Glenwood edged Atlantic for the team title in the AA Division at the Red Oak girl’s Invitational Track Meet on Friday. Glenwood scored 139-points and Atlantic finished second with 133.50.
Haley Rasmussen won the 100, 200, and Long Jump to lead Atlantic. Ava Rush topped the field in the 800 meters, and the Trojans won the Distance Medley and 4×400 Meter Relays. Caroline Pellett finished second in the 100 Hurdles, Taylor McCreedy finished second in the 1500, and 3,000 meters, and added a second-place finish in the 4×800 Relay.
Glenwood won five events. Marissa Ausdemore won the 100 Meter Hurdles, Emma Hughes earned gold in the 1500 Meters, Abby Hughes won the 400 Meter Hurdles, and the Rams finished first in the 4×800, and Shuttle Hurdle Relays.
Clarinda finished third with 91.50 points, Treynor fourth, 68, Creston and St. Albert tied for fifth with 48-points, Red Oak finished seventh, 33, and Shenandoah was eighth with 27-points.
