(Red Oak) Red Oak Police arrested a Montgomery County woman following a two-vehicle crash in Red Oak on Wednesday night.
Police say the accident happened at around 11:40 p.m. in the 1400 block of E. Coolbaugh Street. Following the investigation, Police arrested one of the drivers, 26-year old Aspen Renee Riley, of Red Oak, for OWI 2nd Offense.
Authorities found a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander on its top in the middle of the roadway. The determined Riley was traveling eastbound when she became distracted and struck a parked 2011 Cadillac SRX Premium owned by Morgan Alyssa Dausel. The air bags deployed in the Mitsubishi. The Cadillac received $4,000 damage. The Mitsubishi received $10,000.00 damage.
Officers transported Riley to the Montgomery County Jail, where she is being held on a $2,000 bond.
In a separate incident, Red Oak Police arrested 29-year old Kody James Syverson of Stanton and 29-year old Olivia Margaret Kruse, both from Red Oak, for Domestic Abuse Assault, 1st Offense. They were transported to the Montgomery County Jail and held on no bond pending an appearance in front of a Magistrate Judge.
