(Atlantic) Atlantic senior middle infielder Caroline Pellett signed on to play softball at Simpson College on Wednesday morning.
Pellett says her love for the game led her to Simpson.
Pellett finished the 2020 season with some impressive statistics at the plate. The junior hit .383, with a .406 on-base percentage, and a .450 slugging percentage. She hit 20-singles, two doubles, one triple, and 13 RBI., and a .814 field percentage. She is being recruited as a middle-infielder but admits she’s happy to play anywhere on the field to help the team.
Atlantic Head Coach Terry Hinzmann is pleased with Caroline’s to play softball at the next level.
Caroline is the daughter of Kristy and Brad Pellett. Brad’s excited to see his daughter continue her softball career at the second level.
Caroline plans to study in the field of health and exercise sciences with a focus on nutrition.
