(Council Bluffs) Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Council Bluffs.
Sgt. J.P. Hughes says the accident happened at around 6:30 p.m. on Friday at S. 24th Street and Veterans Highway. He says a westbound 2001 Ford Ranger on Vets Highway collided with an eastbound 2005 Chrysler Sebring making a left turn to go northbound on S. 24th Street. The preliminary investigation revealed the Chrysler turned in front of the Ford, causing the crash.
A passenger in the Chrysler received life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The names of the subjects involved in the crash are being withheld at this time.
The accident is under investigation by the Traffic Unit.
