(Mills Co.) A Council Bluffs man was transported to the hospital following a single vehicle accident in Mills County Sunday afternoon.
The Iowa State Patrol says 46-year-old James Bushey was driving a 2008 Toyota Tundra southbound on Interstate 29 at the 27 mile marker when he suffered a medical condition and lost control of the vehicle. The Toyota crossed the median, crossed both northbound lanes and entered the ditch where it struck a barbed wire fence before coming to rest in a farm field.
Bushey was flown by Lifenet to Bergan Mercy for further medical care.
