(Creston) A Union County man faces numerous drug charges.
Creston Police arrested 35-year old Mike Post, of Lorimor early this morning at Fremont/Walnut with assistance from K9 Baxo. Officer’s charged Post with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine more than 5 grams, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver Marijuana less than 50 kilos, Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp, Carrying Weapons, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) 1st Offense, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Post is being held in the Union County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
In another case; Police arrested 28-year old Devin Heimke, of Creston early Sunday morning for Public Intoxication. He was released from Jail on a $300.00 bond.
In a separate incident; Creston Police arrested 41-year old Justin Hodge of Creston on Saturday for driving while suspended, and possession of a controlled substance 1st offense. Heimke was released from the Union County Jail on a $1,300 bond.
Police are also investigating a theft at a home at 507 Mills Street. Robert Loe told Police he’s been working on the house, and someone broke in and stole a Masterforce Chop Saw. The estimated damages and loss total $200. Loe told Police the incident happened between February 25 and February 26.
