(Red Oak) An Oakland, Iowa man faces numerous charges following a pursuit in Red Oak.
Red Oak Police Officers tried to stop a vehicle for a traffic offense at around 12:21 a.m. today. The vehicle, driven by 32-year old Kirk Kencaid Kinser took off and led law enforcement on a pursuit through Red Oak. Kinser lost control at the T-intersection of W. 4th Street and W. Coolbaugh, and struck a fire hydrant. Authorities arrested Kincaid, and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail.
Kincaid is charged with Driving While Barred, Eluding, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Reckless Driving. Kincaid also has a warrant from Pottawattamie County for Contempt of Court.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Red Oak Police Department with the arrest.
