(Atlantic) Atlantic/CAM Head Wrestling Coach Tim Duff describes the first part of the wrestling season as “up and down”. The Trojans head into the Christmas Break with a 4-1 overall dual record. Duff says the goal is to become more consistent and improve every day in the wrestling room.
The Trojans have scored 851 points, to the oppositions 238. Kadin Stutzman, at (170), leads the team in scoring with 99.5 points. The junior is 14-0 on the season with 10-pins, one technical fall, and two decisions.
Joe Weaver is second in scoring with 74-points. The senior is 12-3 with six pins, two major decisions, and three matches won by decision.
The Trojan’s first competition is Saturday, January 2, at a dual tournament at Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont.
Atlantic/CAM wrestles four times in seven days. After the dual tournament at Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, the Trojans compete at Woodbine on January 5, at home for a double-dual at CAM high School on Thursday, January 7, and host the Rollin Dyer Tournament in Atlantic on Saturday, January 9.
