(Greenfield) The Greenfield City Council set a public hearing on Monday night for December 15 for the sale of City-owned property at 102 SW 3rd Street.
Greenfield City Clerk Becky Haase says the City received the property from the Development Corporation..
The Council also approved a pay request for the amount of $58, 954.15 for the City’s Street improvement project. Construction crews have nearly completed the $1.2 million reconstruction project on southwest Mills Street from West 2nd to West 5th Street, and East Iowa Street from 2nd Street to 4th Street.
The Council also renewed a maintenance agreement with Camblin’s of Atlantic.
In other business, the Council awarded the sanitation hauling contract to Grantham Sanitation for $2,961.00.
