(Adair Co.) Two people were arrested on Theft, Forgery and Drug Paraphernalia charges in Adair County on September 1st.
According to the report, an Adair Police Officer was at Kum and Go in Adair when the clerk stated that a guy gave them a fake $20 bill and pointed to the vehicle leaving in the lot. The Officer stopped the vehicle as it was getting onto I-80 eastbound. The officer asked the passenger, 36-year-old Reginald Augusta Hallman, of Chicago, Illinois, to exit the vehicle and took him into custody. Several items from Kum and Go that were not paid for were found in his pockets. The driver of the vehicle, 27-year-old Allana Jade Wiand of Omaha, Nebraska, gave consent to search the vehicle and two pipes with methamphetamine residue were located. Wiand was then taken into custody. Other items that were stolen from Kum and Go were also found in the vehicle. Dispatch advised that the plates did not match and after running the VIN number, it came back stolen out of Omaha, Nebraska. A check with NCIC also showed Reginald had two outstanding warrants. Reginald Hallman was arrested for Theft in the 2nd Degree, Forgery, Theft in the 5th Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was held on $5,000 bond. Allana Wiand was charged with Theft in the 5th Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Theft in the 2nd Degree. She was held on $5,000 bond.
In other activity, The Adair County Sheriff’s Office arrested Duquin Dwight Fleming, 32, of West Des Moines, on August 30th on warrant out of Polk County. He was held on no bond and later transferred into Polk County’s custody.
Barry Allen Mussman, 50, of Greenfield, was arrested August 30th for Domestic Assault – Bodily Injury. Mussman was held on $1,000 cash or surety bond.
The Greenfield Police Department arrested John Paul Phillippe, 28, of Greenfield, on September 1st for Disorderly Conduct – Threat, and Public Intoxication. Phillipe was charged again on September 1st while at the Jail with Obstruction of Prosecution or Defense and Interference with Official Acts. He was held on $200 cash or surety bond on all four charges.
