(Anita, IA) — CAM Cross Country is young and in few numbers but Head Coach Theresa Taylor loves talking about her runners and how much potential they have. The Cougars will not qualify for either boys and girls team standings this season so it will be individually focused this fall.
On the boys side there are just two runners — Senior Dustin McCurdy and Freshman Landon McKnight. Taylor is excited to see McKnight’s progress throughout his high school career
On the girls side there are four runners and they are all new. Sophomore Kinsey Burg is dual sporting in volleyball but is injured right now and has not been able to hit the course. Freshman Makayla Lillard seems to have the lowest times so far for CAM
Freshman Addyson Vogel and Freshman Kendrick Madsen round out the line up for the CAM girls.
Overall, Taylor says she has a great group of runners who work well together
CAM will run tonight at a meet in Treynor.
