Clarice Marie Buman passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan, Iowa on Saturday, August 22, 2026 attaining the age of 93 years, 11 months, and 25 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, Zeno and Lois (Chambers) Lapke and husband, Donald W. Buman.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jane (Jim) Van DeVelde of Villa Park, IL, Kathy (Mark) Kleinschmidt of St. Paul, MN, David (Nancy) Buman of Council Bluffs, IA, Brenda Buman of Harlan, IA, and Mark (Lisa) Buman of Harlan, IA; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Mass of Christian Burial for 93 year old Clarice Buman of Harlan will be held Thursday, September 17th at 11 AM at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan. Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday, September 16th from 5 PM until 7 PM at the church. Interment will be in the Harlan Cemetery.
The Pauley Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
