Mrs. Bonnie Lou Allen, age 90, of Atlantic, IA, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Heritage House in Atlantic, IA.
Funeral service for Mrs. Bonnie Lou Allen will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic, IA, with an interment to follow at Atlantic Cemetery. Rev. Lauri Boysen will officiate the services. A luncheon will take place following the committal in the reception room of the Schmidt Family Funeral Home.
Public visitation with the family will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, starting one hour prior to the funeral.
Memorials may be directed to the Allen Family in memory of Bonnie. They will be designated at a later date and may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 523, Atlantic, IA 50022.
