(Black Hawk Co.) One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident Sunday evening in Black Hawk County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the crash happened at approximately 9:20 p.m. on Highway 218. A 2020 BMW motorcycle, operated by 58-year-old Jeffrey Scott Millen of Cedar Falls, and a 2020 Ford truck, driven by 20-year-old John Paul Lenz of White Deer, Texas, were both traveling northbound when the motorcycle struck the rear of the truck. Millen died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
