(Red Oak) The Red Oak Police Department is pleased to announce that the 10th Annual National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Fountain Square Park in downtown Red Oak.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes strong partnerships between law enforcement, fire, EMS, local organizations, and the communities they serve. The event is designed to strengthen neighborhood relationships, encourage community engagement, and help make Red Oak a safer and stronger place to live.
The event is free and open to the public. Community members can enjoy an evening featuring food, games, interactive activities, first responder vehicles and equipment, safety demonstrations, community resource booths, giveaways, and displays from a wide variety of participating organizations and businesses.
Organizations participating in the event may begin setting up at 4:00 p.m. A one-block radius surrounding Fountain Square Park, including the town square, will be closed to vehicle traffic beginning at 4:00 p.m. Participants may drive into the event area to unload but are asked to move their vehicles once setup is complete. Vehicle traffic will not be permitted inside the event area until after the event concludes at 8:00 p.m.
The Red Oak Police Department encourages businesses, nonprofit organizations, service clubs, government agencies, and community groups to take part in this annual celebration of community partnerships.
