(Cass Co.) The Iowa Department of Transportation is asking for public input on a planned bridge replacement on U.S. Highway 6 over Turkey Creek in Cass County.
The bridge is located approximately 3.7 miles east of Iowa Highway 48, northeast of Lewis.
During construction, traffic will be detoured using 570th Street and Lansing Road.
Construction is currently scheduled for 2028.
The Iowa DOT is accepting public comments on the project through August 12. Residents can learn more about the planned improvements and submit comments through the Iowa DOT’s online public input page.
