(Carson) The first performance of the 49th Annual Carson Community Rodeo is tonight (Thursday, July 30).
Brad Forristall, president of the Carson Community Rodeo, said tonight is Kid’s Night.
Forristall said the rodeo will go on rain or shine tonight. The first performance begins at 8:00 p.m.
The rodeo continues through Saturday.
Danger Dave, a professional rodeo clown and barrelman, will be at the Carson Community Rodeo for the first time.
Forristal said organizers continue to make improvements to the rodeo grounds. This year, they have added new bucking chutes, 250 additional seats, rearranged the calf pens to make room for all of the stock, and added a new 30-by-30-foot archway.
