(Des Moines, IA) — Iowa Democratic US Senate Candidate Josh Turek has received a big endorsement after a game of hoops with former U.S. President Barack Obama.
Turek announced Obama’s endorsement and released a video of the two men playing basketball. Obama won the Iowa Caucus in 2008 and the general elections in 2008 and 2012 for the presidency. Turek was a Paralympic gold medalist in Wheelchair Basketball. He faces Republican Congresswoman Ashley Hinson in the November General Election. Hinson has been endorsed by President Trump.
