(Mitchell County) One man suffered life threatening injuries after a single vehicle crash at the intersection of Mitchell Line Street and Foothill Ave in Mitchell County.
At 7:55 p.m. on July 11, a 2018 Mahi Roxor driven by Joseph Smith, 34, of Mason City was westbound on Mitchell Line Street when it moved over for an oncoming vehicle. The Roxor, driven by Smith, went off the roadway and struck a culvert, before rolling on its side. Two occupants were ejected from the vehicle.
Billi Dodge, 53, of Rock Island was a passenger who was ejected and became pinned underneath the vehicle. Dodge was removed by the Mitchell County Sherrif’s Office and transported by Mercy One Air to Mayo in Rochester with life threatening injuries.
