(Villisca) The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Bedford, Iowa, man and a Colorado woman on a Class B felony theft charge on Monday.
The arrest stems from a traffic stop in the 100 block of North U Avenue in Villisca. During the investigation, officers arrested 43-year-old Luke Allen Mullen for driving while barred and 2nd degree theft of a motor vehicle.
Authorities transported Mullen to the Montgomery County Jail, where he is being held on a $5,000 bond.
Deputies also arrested 54-year-old Alberta Starlynn Montano of Westminster, Colorado, on charges of possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine), 2nd offense, and 2nd-degree theft of a motor vehicle, a Class D Felony.
Authorities transported Montano to the Montgomery County Jail and held her on a $5,000 bond.
