One Person Injured in a Motorcycle Crash in Northeast Iowa

(Elkader) One person suffered injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Clayton County.

The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened on Thursday at around 3:46 p.m. On Grand View Road, east of Grandview Lane. Authorities say 48-year-old Chip James Schuldt was injured in the crash.

According to the report, Schuldt was operating a 2018 Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Grand View Road and lost control on a curve, ending up in the north ditch.

Elkader ambulance transported Schuldt to the Mercy One Hospital in Elkader.
