Motorcycle Accident on White Pole Road Leaves One Injured

(Guthrie Center) A Stuart, Iowa, man suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash in Guthrie County last week.

The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at around 3:10 p.m. on June 15, on White Pole Road near 345th Trail.

Authorities say 50-year-old Andrew Nathaniel McBurney lost control of the 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle while traversing a left-hand curve. The motorcycle left the roadway, entered the south ditch, struck the ground, a guardrail, and a bridge, causing disabling damage to the motorcycle.

Ground EMS transported McBurney to Methodist Hospital in Des Moines for treatment of injuries.
