(Atlantic) An open house will be held on June 5th for the public to tour the home built by the Atlantic Community School District building trades students.
Randy Watts, with Camblin Mechanical, said this project has been in the works for several years.
The single-story house features a master bedroom, two additional bedrooms, one bathroom, a laundry room, an open-concept layout, and decks on the front and back.
Watts said the students did the footings, laid the block, operated the excavators to dig out the crawl space, stood the walls up, sheeted the walls, and put the roof on. Berg Electric helped with the electrical work, and Camblin Mechanical helped with the plumbing and ductwork. He said there were many great partners involved in the project.
The open house is from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5th at the home, located at 1014 East 3rd Street Pl. in Atlantic.
