Atlantic Sweeps Harlan in Boy’s Tennis

(Atlantic) Atlantic downed Harlan 9-0 in a boy’s dual on Tuesday at Atlantic.

Zayden Parker of Atlantic topped Kobe Klaasen of Harlan, 8-4, in number #1 singles. Preston Harter topped Caden Herbst, 8-4, at #2, Monte Smith defeated Jonas Reynolds at #3, 8-5, Rayden Wheeler won 8-2 at #4 over Ramsey Hussing of Harlan, Michael Hocamp picked up a win for the Trojans at #5, 8-2, over Jameson Arentson, and Brock Goodrich defeated Dale Scheuring, 8-5, in a number #6 match.

In doubles, Parker/Wheeler downed Klaasen/Reynolds, 8-5 at Number #1 doubles. Harter/Goodrich at #2, topped Herbst/Scheuring, 8-2, and Smith/Hocamp downed Hussing/Arentson at number #3 doubles.

The Trojans host an eight-team tournament on Wednesday. Harlan travels to Clarinda on Thursday.
