(Des Moines) Another round of severe weather is a possibility Sunday night and Monday.
Jim Lee with the National Weather Service in Des Moines says thunderstorms will develop across Missouri and Nebraska, posing a marginal severe threat in southwest Iowa. He says these storms will be scattered, with the possibility of strong wind gusts and some hail.
Jim Lee says the main threat of severe weather will be on Monday. Lee says a strong low-pressure system will be crossing the state sometime during the day.
Lee says tornadoes will be more likely on Monday afternoon and evening somewhere in the Midwest.
