(Clarinda) The Atlantic Trojans boys’ golf team secured its second dual victory of the week on Friday in Clarinda, following their earlier win against Denison-Schleswig, where it shot a score of 146. This time, they triumphed over Clarinda with a score of 141 to 156 on the host’s course.
The Trojans dominated the competition by taking the top four spots. Hudson McLaren and Gage Gross led the way, both finishing with scores of 34, just one over par. Sam Brosam took third place with a score of 36, while Brady Wood claimed fourth with a 37. Braxton Hass and Jack Muller finished 10th and 11th with scores of 42 and 43, respectively.
On the Clarinda side, Sean Hunter was the standout, finishing fifth with a score of 38. Jac Fine followed in sixth with a 39, while brothers Sam and Jack Kline secured seventh and eighth places with scores of 39 and 41. Kort Neal wrapped up the scoring for Clarinda with a score of 41 for ninth place.
