(New Virginia) Two people suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Warren County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened on Monday, just after 6:00 p.m. on G-76 west of 25th Avenue, northwest of New Virginia. Authorities say 19-year-old Gabriel Stansell and 47-year-old Aaron Wickett, both from New Virginia, suffered injuries in the crash.
According to the report, an eastbound 2011 Subaru Outback driven by Stansell and a westbound 2016 Jeep Wrangler driven by Wickett collided head-on in the westbound lane of G-76.
Air Med transported Stansell to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, and ground ambulance transported Wickett to Mercy Hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
