(Atlantic) The Cass County Fair Board is hosting the second annual Cass County Fair Dinner Auction Fundraiser to support the future of the Cass County Fair.
One year ago, the Cass County Fair Board launched the inaugural Keep the Fair Free for Everyone dinner and fundraiser. Since 1954, the Cass County Fair has remained free to attend, and the current Fair Board stated they were committed to upholding that tradition.
For years, the County Fair’s 4-H Food Stand has been the primary fundraiser to sustain the fair. The goal of the event is to raise enough money to cover rising costs in food, entertainment, and general operations. This would allow additional funds from sponsors, donors, and grants to be used for improvements and future enhancements. Last year’s auction alone raised an impressive $17,635.
This year’s Fair Dinner and Auction Fundraiser will be held on February 7 at the Cass County Community Center in Atlantic. The evening starts with social at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m., with the auction to follow.
A single ticket is $75.00 and guarantees a seat at a “family-style” table. Reserved tables of eight are $600.00. A table selection guarantees you a reserved round table for your group or your business/organization.
