(Audubon, IA) — Audubon Boys Basketball Head Coach Darran Miller will have no shortage of options for his team this season. Despite losing four players from last year’s rotation, the Wheelers have eight players with experience coming into this season. Senior Brody Schultes (11.3 ppg) came off the bench last year but Miller says he is ready to take over a starting spot and is just a good scorer. Miller will also have Senior Austin Christensen (9.1 ppg) for a full season — he missed the first month last year with an injury
Senior Carson Wessell (7.8 ppg) can play inside and outside. Miller says they have experience inside and outside from others as well
Sophomore Hudson Hocker and Paxton Beane and Junior Hayden Larsen will fight for playing time. Miller wants to play fast but needs his team to stay out of foul trouble. He says that the schedule will be tough because the Western Iowa Conference slate will be so tough
Audubon will open their season on Monday December 1st at Coon Rapids Bayard.
