(Elk Horn, IA) — Exira EHK volleyball is hitting the stride at just the right time — with the Rolling Valley Conference tournament next Saturday, the Spartans have won 6 in a row as they swept CAM on Tuesday night.
Exira EHK won 25-15, 25-11, 25-17.
In set 1, the Spartans led 12-6 and Zoey Rasmussen won 5 straight points on serve to take a 17-6 lead. CAM cut it to 12-18 but the Spartans finished it out.
With the score tied 6-6 in the 2nd set, Jaelynn Petersen had the serve and rattled off 7 straight points and Exira won 17 out 19 straight points to lead 23-8.
In the final set, the score was tied 7-7 and Exira EHK again went on a run, scoring 10 of the next 12 points to lead 17-9 and earned the sweep.
