(Denison, Iowa) — An officer-involved shooting in Denison has left one person dead. Investigators confirmed that 36-year-old Feglys Arriba was shot and killed at Washington Park on Friday night. Authorities say an officer responded to a service call at the park and encountered Arriba, resulting in the officer suffering serious physical injuries during the confrontation. The officer shot and killed Arriba at the scene. They have since been placed on paid administrative leave as the investigation continues.
