(Creston) The Creston Police Department reports five arrests and one citation.
On Friday, August 8, at 10:56 a.m., officers arrested Chad Sterling Cozad, 35, at 302 N. Pine Street on an outstanding warrant for failure to report to serve jail time. The original charge was Operating While Intoxicated, 1st Offense. Cozad was transported to the Union County Jail.
That evening at 8:44 p.m., Lela Ann Churchwell, 46, was charged with Disorderly Conduct – Loud Raucous Noise, Interference with Official Acts, and Public Intoxication. She was cited and released on a promise to appear.
On Saturday, August 9, at 10:30 p.m., Trisha Jae Johnston, 41, was arrested in the alley behind the 500 block of Wyoming Avenue. Johnston was charged with Operating Without Interlock and Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, 1st Offense. She was transported to the Union County Jail.
Early Sunday, August 10, at 1:16 a.m., officers arrested Dakota Shane Gaulden, 34, at the intersection of Howard and Maple. Gaulden was charged with Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct – Loud Raucous Noise and was transported to the Union County Jail.
Later that morning at 8:34 a.m., Jacob Allen Weller, 20, was arrested at his home on an outstanding warrant for Child Endangerment – Bodily Injury. He was booked into the Union County Jail on a $5,000 cash or surety bond.
On Sunday night at 11:11 p.m., William Jason Long, 53, was arrested at Adams and Lincoln Street. Long was charged with Operating Without Interlock and Operating While Intoxicated, 2nd Offense. He was also cited for Driving on the Wrong Side of a Two-Way Highway and Open Container – Driver 21 Years Old and Older. Long was transported to the Union County Jail.
