(Avoca) Grace Pauley was crowned the 2025 Pottawattamie County Fair Queen.
Grace is entering her senior year of high school. She is the daughter of Rhonda and Chris Buck. Grace explained that the process of becoming Fair Queen involved attending a workshop, participating in judging, writing a speech, and learning proper etiquette. She said she was truly surprised when she was named Fair Queen.
Grace has overcome a lot. She was involved in a motor vehicle accident in 2023. When asked during the contest who her biggest inspiration was, she mentioned that it was her mom.
Grace is in FFA, she has two goats and two heifers that she looks forward to showing.
Grace offers this advice to anyone interested in getting involved in the Fair.
First Runner Up for Pottawattamie County Fair Queen was Jaiden Poore.
Molly Stamp was named Junior Fair Queen. Molly is entering her freshman year of high school. She is the daughter of Nikky and Adam Stamp.
Molly shows goats and cattle. She said there are many great things about the Pottawattamie County Fair.
Other candidates for Junior Fair Queen were Kendra Robinson, Jaelyn Johnson, Keilyn Goodman, Katie Scheffler, and Callee Schutte.
