(Audubon Co) Callen Weispfennig began his role as CEO of Audubon County Memorial Hospital in June.
Mr. Weispfennig said he is still learning about the facility and the market; however, he does have a vision for the hospital moving forward.
Mr. Weispfennig has taken the opportunity to participate in community events and is enjoying getting to know everyone.
Mr. Weispfennig moved to Audubon from northern Minnesota where he managed a rural Critical Access Hospital in Fosston. He brings experience in patient care, operations, and financial sustainability, with achievements in growing services at Essentia Health Fosston and St. Cloud Hospital. He also has a strong record of professional volunteerism.
