(Corning, Iowa) A Corning, Iowa, man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for firing shots at a group of teenagers.
Court records show 40-year-old Cole Inman pleaded guilty to one count of intimidation with a dangerous weapon, a Class C felony. He was sentenced on July 10 and is subject to No Contact Orders involving the victims. All other charges against Inman were dismissed, including three counts of attempted murder, child
endangerment, reckless use of a firearm, and obstruction of prosecution or defense
The incident occurred on October 27, 2023, when Inman chased a truck carrying several teens and fired multiple rounds at the vehicle. At the time, his wife, 39-year-old Lisa Inman, and their children were also in his car.
Lisa Inman has also been charged in this case. Her trial is scheduled to begin August 6th.
