(New York, NY) — The TSA is expecting to screen more than 18-million passengers by the time the Fourth of July holiday wraps up.
TSA Spokesperson Jessica Mayle says fireworks are one item travelers absolutely cannot pack in their carry on or checked luggage. She says it’s important passengers know what items are prohibited to keep security lines moving, especially since the holiday can come with extra wait times.
Anyone traveling without a REAL ID or compliant form of secondary ID should also budget extra time into their travel day since they will have to go through additional security checks.
