(Audubon Co) The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office reports three arrests from May.
Easton Patterson, age 20 of Atkins, was arrested on May 3rd for OWI-1st. The charge stems from an investigation involving an accident at the intersection of 150th and Highway 71. Patterson was seen by the magistrate and released on his own recognizance. According to court records, he later plead guilty to the charge.
Allen Newell, age 38 of Audubon, was summoned into court on May 20th on a charge of Bigamy. He appeared before the magistrate and was released. Newell has entered a plea of not guilty.
James Stephens, age 21 of Audubon, was arrested on May 29th on charges of Escape from Custody- Felon and Interference with Official Acts. The charges stem from an incident where Stephens was being arrested on unrelated charges. He appeared before the magistrate and was held.
