(Atlantic) The Atlantic Trojans softball team is down to its final seven regular-season games.
The Trojans won three out of four last week with wins over Clarinda, a doubleheader victory over Red Oak, and a 4-0 loss to Dowling Catholic on Friday.
Today, the Trojans load up the bus and head to Sioux City to take on Bishop-Heelan. Atlantic Head Coach Terry Hinzmann says this is a team they have never faced, but have watched play a few times.
The stiff competition continues on Tuesday with a non-conference game against highly ranked ADM.
Wednesday is Senior Night against a tough Treynor team from the Western Iowa Conference. The doubleheader makeup game with St. Albert will be held on either July 3 or July 5 in Atlantic. The Trojans will conclude the regular season on Tuesday, July 8, at home in a doubleheader against Sioux City, East.
