(Guthrie County) One person died in a three-vehicle accident in Guthrie County.
The Iowa State Patrol reports that the accident occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday, on Highway 141, east of Oak Avenue. Authorities say 60-year-old Jerry Hager, of Coon Rapids died in the crash.
Hager was driving an eastbound 2009 Chevy Impala, crossed the centerline, during heavy rain, and side-swiped a westbound 2024 Jeep Wrangler driven by 56-year-old Michelle Pudenz of Carroll. Subsequently, Hager’s Impala struck a westbound 2018 GMC Terrain head-on in the westbound lane.
Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home transported Jerry Hager to the State Medical Examiner.
