(Creston) Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Creston Saturday morning.
The Creston Police Department says 21-year-old Aleah Calvin of Creston was driving a 2014 Jeep south on Poplar Street, approaching the intersection with Monroe Street. Calvin looked, but did not see a westbound 2024 Volkswagen Jetta. Calvin failed to yield and struck the Volkswagen, disabling both units.
The driver of the Volkswagen, 71-year-old William Hillman, and passenger 71-year-old Debra Hillman, were both transported to Greater Regional Medical Center by EMS.
Aleah Calvin was checked out and cleared by medics at the scene. Calvin was cited to Failing to Obey Yield Sign.
